The majority of the paintings in this exhibition were of local scenes and they highlighted the many lovely landscapes and historical buildings within Clackmannanshire, Stirling, Falkirk and the surrounding areas.

Previous Central Arts Charity Exhibitions staged in Kincardine and Charlestown, Fife

Exhibition at Fat Boabs KincardineIn September 2008 Central Arts staged a very successful charity exhibition in the upstairs function suite of Fat Boab`s Bar, Elphinstone Street, Kincardine, Fife

A number of artists did sketching and painting at the venue during the exhibition for the public to watch.

This was a charity exhibition in aid of the High Valleyfield Children`s Development Centre in Fife.
Proceeds from the sale of artworks and all proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets was donated to this Centre so that a new piece of play equipment could be purchased for the children.

In October 2007 Central Arts staged an extremely successful exhibition of over 250 framed paintings in The Elgin Hotel, Charlestown, Fife in aid of the Opendoor Trust in Glasgow.  (Photos below).

Threshing on a frosty morning by Margaret MacGregorMumrills Farm, Falkirk by Sharon MacDonaldA display of original paintings was on show recently in the Shopping Arcade at the Royal Highland Show, Ingliston, Edinburgh by 'MacGregor Fine Art Gallery'.

A wide selection of solely original paintings by well known Scottish artists included a number of rural scenes by the following four members of Central Arts, Colin Nairns, Anne Whigham, Sharon MacDonald and Margaret MacGregor.  The paintings are now on display in the 'MacGregor Fine Art Gallery' in Glasgow.
