Great news! – at 1st December 2017
So far we have raised over £9,000 for Strathcarron Hospice and MacMillan Cancer Support.
This amount has been raised from the sale of our paintings at our “Ongoing” Charity Exhibition in Blossoms Coffee Shop/bistro at Torwood Garden Centre Ltd, Bellsdyke Road, Larbert.

The owners of Torwood Garden Centre Ltd are very generously donating their full charge of 20% commission on the sale of each painting to these two charities.
This beautiful photograph entitled “Puffin coming in to land” by local photographer David Jones is currently on display in our exhibition.

Central Arts is an entirely voluntary and non-profit making association of artists in Central Scotland.
It was founded in June 1986.
Membership covers a wide area in Central Scotland including Stirlingshire, Clackmananshire, Perthshire, Fife, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Over the years Central Arts has staged exhibitions to raise funds for the following charities.
Awards to Central Arts
(1) – In 2002 Central Arts Association received an Award during ‘Volunteers Week’ for dedication and commitment.
(2) – In February 2009 Central Arts Association received an “Outstanding contribution to the Arts in 2008 Award” from Clackmannanshire Arts Forum.

Central Arts member Margaret C Robertson has written and illustrated a book containing 17 short stories for adults entitled “My Short and Shorter Tales”. It can be downloaded from Amazon via this link. Royalties will be donated to Strathcarron Hospice.
