The members of Central Arts Association have raised a further £2,150.00 for Strathcarron Hospice and MacMillan Cancer Support from the 20% commission charged on the sale of their paintings at their “Ongoing” Charity Exhibition which is on display in Blossoms Coffee Shop at Torwood Garden Centre, Bellsdyke Road, Larbert.
A cheque presentation ceremony to celebrate this achievement will be conducted by Brad Yule, Presenter on Central FM, on Sunday 6th December from 2pm to 4pm in Torwood Garden Centre.
Members of the public are invited to attend this special ceremony which will start at 2pm prompt.
A Representative from each charity will also present a speech to highlight how much they appreciate and depend on donations from the public and their fund raising efforts.
The members of Central Arts Association wish to express their sincere gratitude to the public for buying their paintings from their exhibition in Torwood Garden Centre. They are delighted to announce that a total of £6,000 has so far been raised for the two charities and this has been achieved due to the owners of Torwood Garden Centre Ltd, the Stevenson family, very generously donating their full charge of 20% commission on the selling price of each painting to both charities.
